Bael fruit leaves are found wild all over the sub–Himalayan forests. It is sacred to Hindus and is the fruit as well as the leaves are offered to Lord Shiva. Bael is also considered to be an emblem of fertility.

Brewing Instructions & Methods
- Microwave Method: Microwaving is the easiest, put the toasted slice of bael fruit in a tea mug or cup with water. Heat it until it boils.
- Hot Water Method: Boil hot water and pour it over the toasted bael fruit that is placed in a tea cup and let steep for 3-6 minutes.
- Traditional Boiling Method: Drop the toasted bael fruit slices into a pot. Add water and boil for at least 2 minutes, let the bael fruit steep for 3-6 minutes. This method brings out the most flavor.
