Mimosa is the touch me not plant.

size

Mimosa is a tall shrub that grows in most parts of the world, but thrives in a warm climate. The trees can grow 20–30 feet, and fashion delicate circular blooms, usually pink or yellow. Mimosas have the ability to tolerate many weather conditions including drought and cold weather. Their ability to grow and reproduce quickly puts native plants at risk. Therefore, Mimosas are considered invasive species in parts of the world. When growing Mimosas, the seeds require scarification to germinate.

Mimosa is thought to have healing properties in relation to wounds and bruises. In Ayurveda, Mimosa has also been used in relation to fertility.
