Apamarga Prickly Chaff

Apamarga is pungent and bitter in taste. Because of its potency Apamarga has been mentioned in several ancient manuscripts of Ayurveda as an aid with digestion. It possesses light, dry,and sharp attributes. It is known to be useful in helping curb appetite as well.

Apamarga has many uses. Commonly is can be used in culinary dishes. Best known for a dish using rice and milk, May also be used as a tea. Add 1 tsp of herb to 2 cups of boiling water, steep for 10 minutes, sweeten if desired and drink. Perfect for an after dinner drink to help with digestion.
